The design goal of the new Unit was simple, Duotone wanted to create a wing with a stable drift that can follow you effortlessly without pulling left, right, up or down when depowered on the wave. At the same time, they wanted a wing that created more lift for improved hang time in jumps and easier handling in maneuvers, all of this combined with a boom-like control and steering. The results will blow your mind, the unit has proven to be their best performing wing to date with unrivalled flying performance.

F-ONE brings another breakthrough design with the STRIKE CWC and offers unique sensations in light wind conditions.
Nearly two years after the release of their first swing they have found the ultimate way to add surface to the wing without compromising lightness and performances. The new patentedCompact Wing Conceptallows adding more surface into a given wingspan. They have added 2 struts to the existing one offering the most compact shape on the market for the bigger sizes.
The first 3 trusts wing is not just a wing with 2 more struts. It has been a tough process to control the twist of the 2 struts and therefore the power and performances of this new wing. The high performances design They had in the rest of the STRIKE range and the incredible control of the cloth tension was a necessary base from which to start such an ambitious design program.
The two extra struts increase the wing’s surface without increasing the leading edge’s length and diameter. Once they were able to fit a 6m into a short 5m leading edge they were then able to build a 7m and 8m with the same concept.
The control of the leading edge’s length offer more rigidity in the canopy and the trailing edge is completely controlled, adding performances.
Because touching the water while riding is one of the big sizes issue, they have also worked on the tips profile. They naturally stay away from the water surface. If they do hit the water, their design allow them to glide over and not stop you as it would. This allows you to ride with your hands at a normal height and not with your arms above your head.
This new geometry brings great power with ease of use and therefore a super light feel with less wingspan. The wing is more maneuverable, easier to flip around when on the water. Pumping is super easy and gets you planning in no time as the wing tips don’t touch the water when you bend your arms. This unique compactness allows a very comfortable ride with big wing sizes.

Following on from the very successful WASP V1, the second-generation design has been extensively reworked offering even more power, control and comfort. It’s lightweight, simple to set up, easy to use and offers amazing all-round performance whether you are freeride cruising, wave riding, boosting air tricks, down winding or just starting out.
Ozone's innovative Leading Edge and Strut design creates stability and minimises airframe flex, delivering a solid, direct and well-balanced feeling. This rigidity also helps develop power at low speeds to get you powered up and planing sooner. The Leading Edge seam has been repositioned to reduce drag and to avoid abrasion when crashing.
The planform has been modified and the wing tip shape has been refined to reduce interference with the water or ground. Scuff protection has been integrated for riding on snow or land, although it is best to keep the wing off the ground at all times! Easy view windows on either side of the strut provide safety for you and others around.
Power Handle positions have been optimized and the design updated to a round ergonomic shape for increased comfort and control. The streamline De-Power Handle at the front of the Leading Edge completely de-powers the wing for total control when carving on swell or carrying the wing.
The WASP V2 is suitable for riding any type of board on the water that has enough volume to support your weight. In strong wind conditions and with developed skills it is possible to ride with smaller volume hydrofoil boards. On the land or snow minimal wind is required to harness the natural energy to enjoy a different feeling of propulsion.
To make deflation and packing easy the WASP V2 is equipped with a Fast Flow inflate/deflate valve on both the Leading Edge and Strut.
Ozone have designed a modular leash system that can be customized for rider preference. The WASP V2 ships standard with a Waist Strap pre-attached to the Leash Line. Leash system accessories (sold separately) are a velcro Wrist Strap or a Quick Release for use with the supplied Waist Strap or for connecting the Leash Line to a harness.
For riders using a harness, webbing loops next to the strut Power Handles provide quick and easy installation of the WASP V2 Harness Line - a slim and lightweight design with an internal bungee contracting when unhooked to stay out of the way. Combine with our new Connect Wing harness for the ultimate set up. Note: to use the WASP V2 with the Connect Wing Harness it requires our specially designed WASP V2 Harness Line (sold separately).
